External Aerodynamics Projects

In our external aerodynamics studies, we look for the optimization of the aerodynamic design by obtaining the aerodynamic forces and coefficients, drag contours or pressure and air speed distribution. Our goal is to improve aerodynamic efficiency and reduce consumption of vehicles and equipment.

Internal Aerodynamics Projects

For internal aerodynamic studies, we focus on the optimization of air intake, distribution and exhaust systems. By modeling pressure losses, we are able to improve air distribution and optimize the behavior of ventilation systems. Reducing the consumption of ventilation equipment and increasing its energy efficiency.

Wind Load projects

In studies of wind loads for construction, we focus on studying the influence of wind on facades and structural elements. Thanks to obtaining exact pressure distribution and information on how buildings come to influence the environment around them, we are able to study in detail the cases that are not contemplated in the normative.

For studies of pedestrian comfort in urban environments, we also simulate the behavior of the wind and how it is influenced by buildings and architectural elements. By combining annual statistical wind data, the local effects of air acceleration and comfort criteria such as Lawson, we can detect those uncomfortable areas in terms of wind comfort.

For indoor air quality studies in closed spaces, we simulate the behavior of air coming from air conditioning systems or natural ventilation strategies. Thanks to the ability to obtain and visualize all the air parameters, we are able to detect areas with a poor ventilation rate and define improvement actions.

In HVAC projects, the calculation of thermal loads serves to specify the most suitable air conditioning equipment, but it does not serve to really validate the climatization strategies used. In interior comfort studies we are able to obtain the internal distribution of temperatures, the effectiveness of the ventilation systems and the degree of satisfaction of the occupant.

In thermal dissipation studies, we optimize the design of the refrigeration systems to ensure the correct operation of the equipment under any environmental condition. We focus on maximizing heat exchange with the environment and limiting operating temperatures to guarantee system performance.
